About Us

The Surrogacy Center was founded in 2002 by the partners of The Law Center for Children and Families who saw the need to provide a safe, compassionate, and professional arena in which to match intended parents with gestational carriers.

The Surrogacy Center is represented by The Law Center for Children and Families which provides all legal services for the Center from preparation of the Parentage Agreement through legal proceedings necessary to establish parentage for the intended parents.

Our President of the Board, attorney Judith Sperling-Newton, has represented surrogacy clients in the State of Wisconsin for the past twenty years. She represented the first gestational surrogacy in the State in 1996 and is well versed in Wisconsin statutes.

We follow self-imposed professional guidelines. We are members of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and adhere to their guidelines with respect to surrogacy. We are also members of RESOLVE, a national infertility organization, and we are registered with the FDA in compliance with 21 CFR §1271.
