Intended Parents

Creating a family through surrogacy is an exciting prospect, and with The Surrogacy Center’s experienced, caring assistance to guide you through the process, it can be positive and successful. We help make the dream of parenthood become a reality by working closely with intended parents. There are many facets and layers to the surrogacy process and our job is to help navigate the process for you. We do this by carefully selecting an appropriate carrier, coordinating the legal aspects, and working closely with your clinic to ensure that you are receiving the best care.

The gestational carriers in our program are educated women who have an intrinsic desire to help someone achieve the dream of parenthood. We carefully screen our carriers through our application process which involves a written application, an in-person interview, a psychological evaluation for both her and her partner, as well as a background check. In addition, we require that the carrier have insurance, and our attorneys review the policy to see if there are any exclusions for surrogacy. Finally, we secure the carrier’s medical records with respect to her previous pregnancies. At the minimum, the carrier must:

• be at least 21 years of age
• have given birth to a child of her own
• a non-smoker
• a permanent resident of the United States
• must have medical insurance
